To understand that every freedom, every measure of liberty a man holds dear was purchased with the blood, sweat and tears of his father is to understand that it is his own blood, sweat and tears that will purchase the freedom of his son.
The enemies of freedom and liberty are not the colors of white or black, they are not the words of law or the institutions of government and religion. The enemies of freedom are those individuals who would use these things as the reason and means to hold you down and raise themselves up. To understand this is to know where your blood must flow.
